Amish Baked Goods
In 1968, Bill Wilson, Sr. started Wilson Farm Market.
Wilson Farm Market, Fresh Baked Bread, Amish Jelly and Jam, Amish Pies, and more Amish Baked Goods.
Initially, the business was a self-service retail "fresh egg"
business. It started with an old refrigerator and a muffin tin for customers to
put their money in to pay for their eggs. Founder Bill Sr. expanded to include
fresh fruits and vegetables. In 1971 sold the business to Bill, Jr. Both father
and son still worked side by side, growing their own sweet corn for the
business. Soon, many other items were being raised, including cantaloupe, green
beans, tomatoes, pumpkins, and zucchini. Wilson Farm Market is located halfway between Indianapolis and Kokomo,
Indiana, on U.S. 31. Over the years, Wilsons' has blossomed into a full service
"general store" providing freshness and quality with a full line of
fresh fruits and vegetables. We also have many varieties of Amish cheese,
hand-dipped ice cream, our own line of jams, jellies, salad dressings, and
other unique food items, frozen fruits and pies, cobblers, apple dumplings, and
our own homemade baked goods, including many varieties of freshly baked bread
such as our ever-popular pretzel bread. Wilson also has fudge. We make our own
fresh fudge using Amish butter.
Wilson has many flavors to offer, everything from plain ole' chocolate and peanut butter to peanut butter explosion and birthday cake fudge. We are always experimenting with new flavors and are sure you'll want to taste some fudge when you stop in!
